In May 2003, Cologne-based producer Bettina Brokemper and Munich-based advertising film production company Embassy of Dreams founded the film production company Home film based in Cologne. Managing partner Bettina Brokemper previously established the Cologne branch of Hamburg-based Neue Impuls Film as a producer and proved herself as managing director of the German Zentropa spin-off Pain Unlimited, now Zentropa Köln GmbH. Another partner is Helmut Hartl. The Home film can rely on an international network of talents and partners and a strong film infrastructure in and around Cologne. Home film develops and produces its own film and television projects for German, European and international audiences. It is also involved in Home film in international co-productions, primarily European cinema films, and organises service productions in Germany for international film companies.
