BBC Studios Germany is strengthening its fiction team with the addition of renowned producer Iris Kiefer, who already has an impressive career behind her. After successful years at Filmpool Fiction, Kiefer now returns to BBC Studios Germany as a freelance producer to concentrate fully on producing and writing stories. Under her leadership, Filmpool Fiction has enjoyed great success, particularly in the crime drama sector with productions such as "Tatort" and "Polizeiruf 110". The collaboration with Kiefer will help to expand BBC Studios Germany's portfolio with high-quality and original projects, which Managing Director Phil Schmid sees as a huge step in the development of the company's scripted division.
