CONTRAST FILM strengthens its management team with Anke Beining-Wellhausen as commercial director.

With a doctorate in law, she began her professional career at the media law and talent law firms Prinz Law and von Have Fey. She then worked for the renowned German production and distribution companies Senator Film and Kinowelt before spending ten years as a member of the management team at The Walt Disney Company in Munich. There she successfully managed the Business and Legal Affairs and Affiliate Sales departments. From 2011 to 2015, she was CEO and Programme Director for the TV channels and streaming platform of Teleclub, a subsidiary of Swisscom (now blue Entertainment AG ), and made a significant contribution to the expansion and further development of the content offering. In 2017, she was Managing Director of Global Screen - a TELEPOOL Brand in Munich.

Anke Beining studied law and political science in Germany (Bonn), Switzerland (Geneva) and the USA (Columbus, Ohio) and obtained her doctorate in international copyright law at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is admitted to the bar in Munich and to the bar in New York. She is a member of the board of trustees of FOCAL (Foundation for Professional Training in Cinema and Audiovisual Media), a lecturer in film law at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ) and a member of the expert commission "Feature Film" at the Federal Office of Culture (Bundesamt für Kultur BAK ). She is a Swiss-German dual citizen and lives in Zurich.
