Munich, 12 June 2024 - Alicia Remirez joins the management of Constantin Film Produktion GmbH, a subsidiary of Constantin Film AG, with immediate effect.

In addition to Alicia Remirez, the management of Constantin Film Produktion consists of Tim Greve, Norbert Hermannstädter and Gero Worstbrock.

Alicia Remirez was born in Madrid and grew up in Bonn, where she also completed her A-levels. She completed her degree in General and Comparative Literature in Berlin after studying Cinema Studies at New York University for a year. In 1993, she completed her Master of Arts at the University of Sussex in England. She initially worked for Spanish television before moving to Sat.1 in 1994. From 1996, she headed the TV movie department and became deputy managing director of Sat.1 in 2004. Under her leadership, the Tuesday evening slot became the channel's most successful. She remained with the station for 14 years and, as Deputy Managing Director, was responsible for series, TV movies, events, daily and cinema productions. During this time, she was responsible for over 120 TV films, including TV events such as "Der Tunnel", "Die Luftbrücke" and "Wir sind das Volk", as well as cinema co-productions such as "Herr Lehmann" and "Das Wunder von Bern". In 2008, she left the broadcaster to work as a producer, first at "Producers at Work" and later as a freelance producer for Ninety Minute. In 2016, she finally moved to UFA Fiction, where she produced "Ein starkes Team". In summer 2018, she became Managing Director of Olga Film and, as a producer, was responsible for such successful TV series as "Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt" and "Kommissarin Lucas". Most recently, she produced the high-end series "Eldorado KaDeWe - Jetzt ist unsere Zeit" and "Smillas Gespür für Schnee".
