Lena Kraeber becomes the new Managing Director of Olga Film/ Laura Machutta takes over management of the Berlin office

Munich, 27 June 2024 - Personnel changes at the Constantin Film subsidiaries: Lena Kraeber becomes the new Managing Director of Olga Film, succeeding Alicia Remirez and Viola Jäger. In addition to managing MOOVIE, Laura Machutta will also take over the management of Constantin Film in Berlin.

After training and subsequently assisting the producer at Colonia Media Filmproduktion and teamWorx in Cologne, Lena Kraeber studied production, specialising in creative producing, at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg from 2008. In 2011, she took part in the Hollywood Masterclass at UCLA Extensions in Los Angeles with a scholarship from the state of Baden-Württemberg. She completed her studies in 2014 with the documentary film "War of Lies", which was honoured with the International Emmy Award in 2016. From 2013, she worked in Berlin as a producer for producer Alicia Remirez and realised various television films with her for Ninety Minute Film. In 2015 she moved to UFA Fiction. As a producer there, she most recently oversaw the ZDF crime series "Ein starkes Team", among others. She has been a producer at Olga Film since 2021 and is responsible for the successful TV series "Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt", among others. She now heads Olga Film together with Gwendolin Grethe.

Laura Machutta was born in Freiburg in Breisgau. After completing her bachelor's degree in media design at the Bauhaus University Weimar and a year abroad in film studies and photography at Concordia University Montreal, Laura Machutta studied film and television production at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Laura Machutta completed her studies with the feature film "Anderswo", which was shot in Israel and won the "Dialogue en perspective" award at the 2014 Berlinale, among others. Laura Machutta already worked as a production manager at MOOVIE during her studies and since 2013 has been responsible for productions such as "Lauchhammer" (ARD/ MDR/RBB/arte) and "Strafe - nach Ferdinand von Schirach" (RTL+), initially as project coordinator, production manager and later as production manager. Laura Machutta is currently developing her own projects as a producer, including the film adaptation of the novel "Der Zopf meiner Großmutter" (MBB-funded). Laura Machutta has been Managing Director of MOOVIE since 2020 and will continue to manage the Constantin Film subsidiary together with Friedrich Radmann. In addition, Laura Machutta is Chairwoman of the Television Section of the Production Alliance.
