Reinforcement for economic and financial reporting at ZDF: Florian Neuhann, previously a correspondent in ZDF's European studio in Brussels, is moving to the ZDF broadcasting centre in Mainz and will head the new Economics/Finance team in ZDF's main editorial department for Economics, Law, Service, Social Affairs and the Environment from 12 August 2024.

Thanks to his many years of experience as a correspondent, Florian Neuhann has all the expertise needed to present these topics on TV and online."
Florian Neuhann, born in 1980, has been a correspondent at ZDF's European studio in Brussels since 2021 and most recently reported primarily on NATO and the European Union. Prior to that, he was a correspondent at ZDF's capital city studio in Berlin for more than six years, specialising in domestic and financial policy. As a reporter at the ZDF regional studio in Hesse from 2010, he reported on the policies of the European Central Bank in times of the euro crisis, among other things. Neuhann has been working for ZDF as an editor and reporter since 2006.
The ZDF main editorial department for economics, law, service, social affairs and the environment brings a wide range of information to the ZDF programme with the editorial departments "WISO", "Recht und Justiz", "Volle Kanne - Service täglich", as well as "Umwelt und Wirtschaftsdokumentationen". In future, the Economy/Finance team will strengthen reporting from this subject area in ZDF's current affairs programmes and online offerings. Florian Neuhann is the author and interviewer for the current affairs programmes. On 3 October 2024, 7.20 pm, he will also report on the economic problems in Germany in the ZDF documentary "Am Puls mit Florian Neuhann".
