ZDFneo has already released the fourth season with nine new episodes of the German comedy series "Doppelhaushälfte" on Iconoclast Films was commissioned. The production is currently being created under the direction of head writer Dennis Schanz in the writers' room with Stephan Greitemeier, Minh-Khai Phan-Thi, Miriam Suad Bühler, Amina Eisner, Andreas Reinhardt, Freya Herrmann, Alice Gruia and Vera Klocke in Berlin and Brandenburg. The film is directed by Rebeca Ofek, Merle Grimme and Dennis Schanz.

The series is being produced on behalf of ZDFneo by Iconoclast Films (producers: Luis Singer, Dennis Schanz, Swantje Rummel). Lucia Haslauer and Melvina Kotios are the ZDF editors, ZDFneo coordinator is Carina Bernd. Filming is scheduled until 10 October.

The plot: The Sawadi-Kröger and Knuppe families couldn't be more different: on the one hand the woke city dwellers and on the other the tradition-conscious villagers. But the lines of conflict usually emerge in completely different places than expected, and this brings both families back into great turbulence in the fourth season.
