Eva Schiller, Head of the ZDF Regional Studio Baden-Württemberg, will move to Munich on 1 November 2024 to head the ZDF Regional Studio Bavaria. Nicola Albrecht, Head of the ZDF Regional Studio Brandenburg, will become Head of the ZDF Correspondent Office in New York on 1 January 2025. She will be succeeded in Potsdam by Kai Niklasch, who currently heads the ZDF studio in Bremen.

ZDF editor-in-chief Bettina Schausten: "With Eva Schiller and Nicola Albrecht, two experienced correspondents are going to Munich and New York for ZDF. They have helped shape our reporting from Germany and abroad in recent years. The same applies to Kai Niklasch, who will now contribute his many years of experience as a political correspondent in Brandenburg."

Eva Schiller (42) has been head of the ZDF Baden-Württemberg regional studio since 2019. She succeeds Stefan Leifert as studio manager in Bavaria, who took over as head of the "heute journal" editorial team this summer. Previously, Schiller reported from the regional studio in Hesse and was a correspondent at ZDF's South East Europe studio in Vienna from 2014.

Nicola Albrecht (49) has been head of the ZDF Brandenburg regional studio since August 2020. In New York, she succeeds Johannes Hano, who is now head of ZDF's Southeast Asia studio in Singapore. Albrecht has worked for ZDF for 23 years and was ZDF studio manager in Tel Aviv before moving to Potsdam. From 2011 to 2014, she worked as a correspondent in the ZDF studio in Beijing. From 2009, she was part of the pool of reporters in ZDF's main newsroom and reported from war and crisis zones around the world as well as from various major events.

Kai Niklasch (59) has been head of the ZDF Bremen studio since September 2014. He previously worked for the broadcaster from 2005 to 2014 at the ZDF Europe Studio in Brussels and from 1999 to 2004 as a correspondent at the ZDF Capital Studio in Berlin.
