The Blue Panther - TV & Streaming Award will be presented in Munich on 23 October. The three series nominated in the fiction category have now been announced.

According to Press Release the ARD series "Die Zweiflers" (Turbo culture in co-production with ARD Degeto and Hessischer Rundfunk), the Netflix series "Liebes Kind" (Constantin Film) and the prime video series "Maxton Hall" (UFA Fiction) entered the race for the award, which will be presented together with the other Blue Panthers on 23 October at BWM Welt in Munich.

Media Minister Florian Herrmann emphasised at the announcement of the series nominations: "As a big fan of series, I am particularly excited about today's nominations for the Blue Panther. The jury has selected three high-quality series that captivate viewers in very different ways. From a masterful blend of drama and comedy that portrays the life of a Jewish family in Germany, to a story with a never-ending thread of suspense that skilfully explores the dark and emotional depths of the human psyche, to a modern fairy tale set in an illustrious college world with all the highs and lows of a teenager's emotional world."

The nominations had already been announced in the Acting categories and in the newly introduced Social media categoryThe winner of the competition, which the public can vote for until 30 September, has been announced.
