Shooting for Christian Petzold's new film project "Miroirs No. 3" is currently taking place in Berlin and the Uckermark region. The cinema co-production with ZDF and ARTE is being produced by Schramm Film Koerner Weber Kaiser  (Florian Koerner von Gustorf, Michael Weber, Anton Kaiser). The cast includes Paula Beer, Barbara Auer, Matthias Brandt, Enno Trebs, Philip Froissant, Victoire Laly, Marcel Heupermann and others.

Laura (Paula Beer), a student at the University of the Arts, Department of Music, doesn't know what to do. Music, her life - it all seems to have slipped away from her. During a trip to the Berlin countryside, her boyfriend loses control of the car. A terrible accident. The boyfriend dies. And Laura, as if by a miracle, says one of the emergency doctors, survives without any injuries. The family of a woman who witnessed the accident takes her in. Laura asks to be allowed to stay for a while because she feels at home with them, in this house on the edge of a hamlet. Blossoms, as they say. And the family, which you could call an unhappy one, also blossoms with her. But Laura soon realises that something is wrong with this family.

The film is expected to be shot until October 2024 and will be edited by Caroline von Senden (ZDF), Claudia Tronnier (ARTE) and Julius Windhorst (ZDF/ARTE). The production is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM), the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF) and the German Federal Film Board (FFA). A broadcast date has not yet been set.
