The ZDFneoriginal "All In" tells the emancipation story of a young Muslim woman who immerses herself in the male-dominated poker milieu in order to realise her dream of becoming an astronaut.

Ayla (Via Jikeli), a devout Muslim and highly talented astrophysics student, wants to reach for the stars: she dreams of flying into space. However, she faces a problem when she is given a rare opportunity for a NASA internship in the USA: She has to cover the high cost of the flight and accommodation herself, on top of the already gigantic debt from her student loan. Ayla's parents dismiss her dream as a childish fantasy and she receives no financial support. Ayla comes into contact with poker when she meets Vincent (Jannik Schümann), a friend of her brother Tolga (Eren Kavukoğlu). Gambling is haram and incompatible with Ayla's beliefs. But driven by her determination and the pressure to quickly raise the money she needs for the USA, Ayla immerses herself in the dangerous and at the same time so tempting world of gambling. She begins to lead a double life in which Vincent's role between mentor and controlling lover becomes increasingly blurred. Under the name Nina and with a wig as a substitute for a headscarf, Ayla creates an alter ego for herself, a woman who embodies her secret longings and desires - and gambles for the big money at great risk. For a long time, she believes she has everything under control, until she finally risks everything - her family, her faith, her goal.

Other roles include Lale Yavas, Özgür Karadeniz, Pauline Großmann, Giovanni Funiati and Thomas Loibl.

The six-part drama series was created by Orkun Ertener and is currently being filmed in Munich and the surrounding area based on scripts by the two head writers Kathrin Tabler and Orkun Ertener as well as Jan Cronauer, Marianna Ölmez and Christoph Busche. "All In" is produced by Odeon Fiction (producer: Kathrin Tabler) in co-production with ZDF, funded by FilmFernsehFonds Bayern.
