Anne Ballschmieter has been working for the German-language award for young talent First Steps for almost 15 years now. According to Press Release the artistic director has now decided to open a new chapter in her life.
Ballschmieter took over from Andrea Hohnen in 2020 and then formed a dual leadership team with Jennifer Stahl for three years. Toby Ashraf joined for a few months after Stahl's departure. However, Ballschmieter did this year alone again.
