Since mid-October and until 12 November 2024, the third film in the successful ORF/ZDF TV series "Im Schatten der Angst" has been in production at various locations in Vienna. In "The Scorpion", Susi Stach, Jörg Schüttauf, Stefan Gorski, Oliver Rosskopf and Margarethe Tiesel, among others, star alongside Julia Koschitz. The film is directed by Umut Dağ ("Vienna Blood", "Die Macht der Kränkung") from a screenplay by Nils-Morten Osburg.

"In the Shadow of Fear - The Scorpion" is a co-production of ORF and Mona Film, Tivoli Film Production and ZDF, with the support of FISA+, Fernsehfonds Austria and Filmfonds Wien.
