Aron Levitz has been appointed Co-President of Wattpad, a leading webnovel platform and storytelling community owned by WEBTOON Entertainment. In his new role, Levitz will share leadership with KB Nam and will remain President of Wattpad WEBTOON Studios. This change marks the next step in Wattpad's growth as it continues to expand following a multi-year strategy of product enhancement and community security.
Levitz, who joined Wattpad in 2013, played a central role in building the monetisation strategy and TV/film adaptations of Wattpad stories. Under his leadership, Wattpad Studios was founded, making webnovels accessible to Hollywood and other international markets, and the Wattpad Books division was launched in 2019 to publish the webnovels as books. After the acquisition of Wattpad by WEBTOON in 2021, Levitz led Wattpad WEBTOON Studios and was instrumental in successes such as the film series After and Through My Window involved.
Levitz will lead Wattpad into its next phase of growth together with KB Nam, who was responsible for the further development of Wattpad's core product and community security.
