Filming is currently underway on a new case for the Cologne "Tatort" team with detectives Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt) and Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär). Their 95th case takes them behind the scenes of a children's programme that has been popular for generations. The screenplay for "Tatort: Alles Anders" was written by the author duo Arne Nolting and Jan Martin Scharf. The film is directed by Isabell Šuba and Falko Lachmund is responsible for the visual design.

Roland Riebeling is back as Inspector Norbert Jütte, Tinka Fürst as forensic scientist Natalie Förster and Joe Bausch as forensic scientist Dr Joseph Roth. Other roles include Julia Riedler, Bineta Hansen, Mara Luka, Sylvana Seddig and many more.

The "Tatort: Alles Anders" is a production of the Bavaria FictionCologne branch (producer Jan Kruse) on behalf of WDR (editor Götz Bolten) for ARD. Filming will continue in Cologne and the surrounding area until 12 December 2024. Broadcast is scheduled for 2026.
