The 25th season of the ZDF crime series "SOKO Leipzig", directed by Jörg Mielich and Antje Ritter, is currently being produced in Leipzig and the surrounding area and is expected to run until March 2025. In the 25 new episodes, the dynamic team around Detective Inspector Ina Zimmermann (Melanie Marschke) makes life difficult for criminals in the Saxon metropolis. In addition to the experienced Jan Maybach (Marco Girnth), two young colleagues, Kim Nowak (Amy Mußul) and Moritz Brenner (Johannes Hendrik Langer), complete the SOKO.
The new episodes are scheduled to be broadcast between autumn 2024 and spring 2025 in the familiar ZDF slot (Fridays, 9.15 pm). The producer is Katharina Rietz (UFA Fiction GmbH), contact persons for the ZDF editorial team are Ronja Reitzig and Kirsten Schönig.Â
