Berlin, 2 June 2025 - On 27 June 2025, the Creators Conference within the framework of the Munich Film Festival its premiere. Organised by the Producer alliance in cooperation with the Filmfest, the new debate forum is aimed at producers and creative professionals from film, television and digital media. The aim is to discuss current industry trends, economic challenges and new forms of collaboration.
Key questions about the future of film and media production will be explored in presentations and panel discussions. The topics range from the effects of planned film tariffs and the transformation of the streaming market to artificial intelligence in storytelling and new financing models.
Wiebke Wiesneracting managing director and legal advisor of the Production Alliance, emphasises the importance of the format: "The film industry is undergoing creative and economic change. The Creators Conference is intended to be a space in which new impetus can be generated together and viable future prospects can be developed."
Also the management duo of the Munich Film Festival, Christoph Gröner and Julia Weiglwelcomes the event as an important enrichment for the industry and the Munich location: "The conference brings new ideas and perspectives - which is exactly what the film industry needs, as does society."
The conference will be opened by Wiebke Wiesner and Dr Florian HerrmannBavarian Minister of State for Federal Affairs and the Media.

Remuneration issues in the digital age
