Something is happening at LEONINE Studios: the two successful production companies Madame Zheng Production and SEO Entertainment are joining forces to pool their strengths in the factual entertainment sector. The aim: even more creative power and high-quality formats for TV and streaming from a single source.
New dual leadership
Tina Wagner remains Chairwoman of Madame Zheng Production and will manage the new unit together with Sebastian Heinlein. Heinlein will continue to run the SEO Entertainment label. Together, the two will optimally combine the strengths of both companies - from reality shows and social reports to innovative documentary formats. "Both companies stand for a passion for real stories - as diverse as life itself," explains Wagner.
Farewell after 18 years
The merger also marks the end of a chapter: Gillad Ostererfounder and long-standing Managing Director of SEO Entertainment, is leaving the management team after 18 years to pursue new career paths. "After 18 exciting years, it's time for a new chapter," says Osterer. LEONINE CEO Fred Kogel thanks him for his "outstanding work and productions with an unmistakable signature".
New opportunities for factual entertainment
Jochen Köstler, Executive Vice President Non-Fiction at LEONINE Studios, is convinced that the combined expertise of Wagner and Heinlein will open up new opportunities: "This will allow us to develop our formats in an even more customer-oriented way and break new ground creatively." Heinlein adds: "We combine reality shows, social reportage and authentic docutainment to create a unique content portfolio."

Madame Zheng Production produces entertaining reality shows, social reportages and docu-soaps such as Rampensau forester's lodge, Amore under palm trees or Hartz red gold.
SEO Entertainment stands for award-winning formats, from light entertainment and documentaries to innovative experiments such as those with Jenke von Wilmsdorff or The accident clinic.
The merger creates a strong factual entertainment unit at LEONINE Studios, which realises creative formats for TV and streaming even more efficiently - with concentrated experience, innovative strength and a clear signature.
