At the elections to the AG Short Film three new members were elected to the five-member committee. Amrei Keul from the International Short Film Week Regensburg and Karsten Matern from the AG Animationsfilm were confirmed in their positions. New members are Sarah Dombrink (Interfilm Berlin), Katrin Mundt (European Media Art Festival Osnabrück) and Wolf Plesmann (German Film and Television Academy Berlin).

The two board members Alexandra Gramatke (Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg) and Alexandra Wink (exground filmfest), who did not stand for re-election, had actively shaped the association for more than 15 years. The directors of AG Kurzfilm, Jutta Wille and Jana Cernik, paid tribute to their many years of service and emphasised that the new board would continue the work in their spirit.

The AG Kurzfilm represents around 50 associations and organisations and campaigns for the visibility of German short film at home and abroad as well as for the improvement of production and exploitation conditions.
