Filming for two new films in the ARD crime series "Nord bei Nordwest" has begun on Fehmarn, in Travemünde and in Hamburg and the surrounding area. The leading roles are once again played by Hinnerk Schönemann, Jana Klinge and Marleen Lohse in front of the camera. Directed by Felix Herzogenrath.

The first film has the working title "Nord bei Nordwest: Falsche Polizisten". The screenplay was written by Petra Löschow. The plot centres on a so-called grandchild trick scam that victimises several residents of the fictitious town of Schwanitz. Investigators Hannah Wagner and Hauke Jacobs gradually get closer to the perpetrators in the course of their investigations. Veterinarian Jule Christiansen is also drawn into the events after she recognises one of the suspects from earlier times.

The second film, "Nord bei Nordwest: Der schöne Jens", is based on a book by Niels Holle. Vladimir Korneev takes on the role of a chiropractor who comes under suspicion after the violent death of a patient. When another murder occurs, the clues to a connection begin to mount. However, an alibi from someone close to the patient creates new uncertainties.

The cast includes Cem Ali Gültekin, Stephan A. Tölle, Regine Hentschel, Victoria Fleer and Joshy Peters. The films are produced by triple pictures on behalf of the North German Broadcasting and the ARD Degeto Film. Broadcasting is planned from the beginning of 2027 in the ARD Mediathek as well as on the first channel. Two further films in the series are also planned for 2027.
