The Walt Disney Company will lose its Head of Communications Kristina Schake on 18 March 2026. CEO Bob Iger will also be leaving the company at the same time. Schake's departure marks a further personnel change at management level at the US entertainment giant.
Kristina Schake has been part of Disney's management team since 2022 and was responsible for the Group's internal and external communications as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. In this role, she also advised CEO Bob Iger and the entire Board of Directors.
In a statement, Iger praised Schake's work: she had strengthened the company's communication strategy, involved important stakeholders in a targeted manner and ensured strategic clarity in a dynamic phase. Schake herself said she was proud of the results achieved and the work of her team and was looking forward to new professional challenges.
Disney has not yet announced who will succeed Schake. Her departure will take place under the new management of Josh D'Amaro and Dana Walden, who are taking over the management of the company.
