Searchlight Pictures has a First look agreement with Dirty Filmsthe production company of Cate Blanchett and her partners Andrew Upton and Coco Francini. The deal includes both feature films and television content for streaming platforms.

Dirty Films, which is managed by Blanchett, Upton and Francini, is thus given the opportunity to submit projects to Searchlight first. If Searchlight decides not to do so, the projects can be offered elsewhere.

Searchlight President Matthew Greenfield said in a statement that Dirty Films stands for "distinctive voices and ambitious storytelling" and that the collaboration would be continued.

Blanchett and her partners emphasised that working with Searchlight was enriching due to shared creative values and a collaborative way of working, and expressed excitement for the development of future film and television projects
