The organisation representing the interests of German film, television and audiovisual media producers has a new top position: Hendrik Schierloh takes over the 1 May 2026 the function of legal adviser at the Produktionsallianz - Alliance of German Producers - Film & Television e.V. and at the same time complements the management of the association.
Schierloh succeeds the legal management of Wiebke Wiesner and will also serve as Deputy Managing Director alongside the current CEO and spokesperson for the entire Management Board, Michelle Müntefering, have an effect.
In a statement, Müntefering praised Schierloh as a "high-profile lawyer and industry expert" who will strengthen the Production Alliance team with his professional and strategic background. The aim is to "further advance Germany as a production location".
Schierloh himself emphasised how important the position was to him, especially in view of the far-reaching changes in the production industry: "Together as a team, we will help to further improve the framework conditions in Germany as a production location."
The lawyer comes from the Studio Babelsberg AGwhere he will remain Head of Legal and Human Resources until the end of April 2026. Schierloh brings with him more than two decades of experience in the media industry, including senior positions at All3Media Germany and the EndemolShine Group Germanyas well as experience as managing director of several production companies. He was also active on the board of the Association of German Film Producers (VTFF) and supported film policy statements.
The Production Alliance is one of the most important interest groups for German film and television producers and acts as a dialogue partner for politicians, producers, clients and industry players.
