Filming is currently underway in Hamburg on two major projects for the long-running ARD series Big city district. The Letterbox Film Production is producing the third feature film in the series with the working title "Knockout" (AT). At the centre of the story is police chief Mrs Küppers, who comes under suspicion after a mysterious traffic accident. Together with her colleagues, she uncovers a web of lies and power - suspense guaranteed.

Immediately afterwards, the production of the 40th seasonwhich celebrates the anniversary of the cult series. With the tried and tested ensemble and the typical Hamburg neighbourhood stories Big city district continues its success story. Both the feature films and the series regularly achieve high viewing figures and show how tradition and primetime action can be successfully combined.

The film is being shot under the direction of Kirsten Laser and the screenplay by Andreas Kaufmannproduced for ARD by Letterbox in co-operation with NDR and ARD Degeto Film.
