Filming has begun in Berlin on the new episode of the ZDF crime series The huntress started. Under the working title Death is white Nadja Uhl is once again in front of the camera in the leading role as public prosecutor Judith Schrader.

The film is directed by Jan Fehse from a screenplay by Robert Hummel and Peter Dommaschk. REAL FILM Berlin GmbH has been commissioned by ZDF to produce the film, which is expected to be completed by the end of March. Esther Hechenberger from ZDF is the editor.

The plot revolves around Schrader, who faces a setback when an important key witness fails to materialise. Together with Chief Inspector Jochen Montag (Dirk Borchardt), she tries to find new evidence, while a drug dealer from a Calabrian clan could be released from prison early. Other central characters include Francesca Del Piero (Clelia Sarto) and an ensemble of Sami Loris, Sebastian Schwarz, Judith Engel, Frederic Balonier, Derya Akyol, Katrin Wichmann and Rafael Luis Klein-Hessling.

The episode is being produced by Heike Streich for REAL FILM Berlin. A broadcast date has not yet been announced.
