Filming for the 24th series of the hit ZDF crime drama „SOKO Wismar“ has begun in Berlin, Wismar and the surrounding area. The series is once again being produced by REAL FILM Berlin on behalf of ZDF.

The new episodes will also see Jan Reuter’s team of investigators tackle thrilling cases on the Baltic Sea coast. Filming is expected to continue until autumn 2026 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Berlin.

The series’ cast also includes Udo Kroschwald, Dominic Boeer, Katharina Blaschke, Mathias Junge and Claudia Schmutzler. The series is once again directed by various directors who have previously worked on the series in past series.

„SOKO Wismar“ has been one of the most successful programmes in ZDF’s early-evening schedule for years, combining classic crime cases with a North German flavour and a regional atmosphere.
