Plaion Pictures is further expanding its genre offering and is now bringing the well-established Italian horror label „Midnight Factory“ to Germany. The new additional channel has been available on Prime Video since 22 May 2026, thereby expanding the existing streaming service with a curated selection of horror and genre films.

The channel is specifically aimed at viewers who are interested in dark cinematic worlds, intense horror and unusual genre films. According to the company, the programme line-up includes both modern productions and cult classics of the genre, and is regularly updated with new content.

To mark the launch of the paid service (€6.99 per month), films such as „Bambi – The Reckoning“ and „Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare“ included in the programme. The line-up is rounded off by well-known classics of the genre such as „High Tension“ and „Zombie – Dawn of the Dead“.

Plaion Pictures is positioning „Midnight Factory“ as a curated label within the Prime Video Channel structure. The aim is to build a clearly defined horror profile and to further establish the brand, which is already well-established in Italy, in the German market. According to Jochen Walter, Managing Director of Plaion Pictures, this is intended to specifically expand the range of horror content on Prime Video and make one of Europe’s best-known horror brands accessible to a wider audience.

The channel’s content is curated by the company itself and is set to be expanded with new titles on a weekly basis.
