Hessen Film & Medien is launching with nextSTEP A new one-year support and start-up programme for film and media professionals in Hesse. The programme is aimed at individuals and teams planning to become self-employed or set up a business in the film and media industry.

The focus is on the new Film and Media Start-up Centre at the Kulturbunker Osthafen in Frankfurt am Main, which serves as a creative space for work and socialising. Participants have access to modern co-working spaces, meeting rooms and an events hall.

As well as rent-free workspaces, nextSTEP includes a comprehensive support package comprising personalised support, mentoring, practical workshops and networking events. The aim is to provide targeted support for start-up projects and to strengthen the sustainable development of young film and media companies in Hesse.

The programme is intended to serve as a bridge between creative ideas and professional production, whilst also promoting networking within the Hessian film and media industry.
