Boris Wasmuth has been re-elected as Chair of the Supervisory Board of medianet berlinbrandenburg e.V. for a further two years. The re-election took place at the network’s general meeting on 17 June. Wasmuth took over the chairmanship in 2023 from medianet founder Bernd Schiphorst, who has since served as honorary chairman.

The eight-member Supervisory Board continues to include representatives from the media, creative and digital sectors. With Susanne Stürmer, President of the KONRAD WOLF Film University Babelsberg, and Eike Wolf from the management board of Studio Babelsberg AG, the board also includes figures with direct links to the film industry.

Following his re-election, Wasmuth explained that the newly elected Supervisory Board intended to work alongside the Executive Board and the secretariat over the next two years and to support the network’s further development. medianet sees itself as the leading industry network for creative technologies in Berlin-Brandenburg and brings together companies and institutions from the media, film, creative and digital sectors.
