Artur Gulpe, Executive Vice President and Head of M&A at RTL Deutschland, is set to leave the company on 30 November 2026. He intends to focus on new roles in corporate finance and M&A in future.

Gulpe had been working for RTL and its then sister company Gruner + Jahr since 2016, taking on key responsibilities relating to digital transformation, strategic investments and corporate development. As Head of M&A at RTL Deutschland, he was responsible for numerous transactions, investments and strategic projects aimed at driving the growth and transformation of the media group.

For the film and media industry, this appointment is particularly relevant in the context of RTL Deutschland’s strategic reorientation. The group is currently pushing ahead with the restructuring of its business model – with a stronger focus on streaming, entertainment offerings and the bundling of media content.

RTL has not yet announced who will succeed Gulpe in the M&A division.
