The MediaTech Hub Conference (MTHCON26) is expanding its 2026 programme to include a new platform for artificial intelligence: for the first time, there will be a AI Garden which focuses on the practical application of AI in film, TV and streaming productions.
The industry event will take place on 29 and 30 September 2026 at the Studio Babelsberg site in Potsdam will take place. The new AI Garden stage is intended to provide a platform for experts and AI pioneers to present specific applications and workflows from the field of media production.
The focus is on AI solutions that support production processes even before the final implementation – for example, in the development of ideas, the preparation of film shoots or the optimisation of workflows. Among other things, the organisers are looking for examples of applications in the fields of previsualisation, automated script analysis, storyboard creation, media management and AI-supported production pipelines.
The organisers have designed this format for in-house tool developers, technical producers, those responsible for production workflows, post-production managers and creative professionals from the worlds of film, television, streaming and related media sectors.
Anyone interested can apply by 31 August 2026 Apply to give a presentation as part of the AI Gardens. The sessions should each last around 30 minutes and demonstrate how AI can already be usefully integrated into production processes today.
With this new format, the MediaTech Hub Conference is responding to the growing importance of artificial intelligence for the media industry and broadening its focus to include technological innovations in film and content production.
