Franziska An der Gassen is leaving Apple at the end of September. The former Head of Original Content at Apple TV Germany announced her departure on Instagram. It is not yet known who will succeed her.

An der Gassen moved from Rat Pack to Apple in early 2022 and has since played a key role in building up the company’s original content business in Germany. In her farewell post, she highlights German and international productions, newly developed projects and partnerships with creatives and companies in the industry.

Among the achievements she highlighted are more than 25 awards and nominations for Apple TV Originals. An der Gassen also emphasises the development of the Munich-based team she put together during her time at Apple.

She marks her departure by expressing her gratitude to the team, as well as to external partners and creative professionals. „I am proud of what we have been able to build up in Germany,“ writes An der Gassen, looking back on the past few years.
