ProSiebenSat.1 is reorganising its finance leadership: Ingrid Heisserer will become the media group’s new Group CFO on 1 February 2027. She succeeds Bob Rajan, who has been acting as interim Chief Financial Officer since October 2025 and will continue in the role until Heisserer takes up her post.

Heisserer joins from RTL Deutschland, where she most recently served as CFO and CHRO. In that role, she oversaw, amongst other things, the expansion of the streaming business, the streamlining of the portfolio, cost-cutting programmes and M&A processes. Prior to that, she spent more than 20 years in various international finance management roles at the cosmetics group L’Oréal.

Her move to ProSiebenSat.1 comes at a time when the group is undergoing a strategic reorientation. ProSiebenSat.1 has recently placed greater emphasis on the entertainment business, content, platforms, monetisation and technology. At the same time, the group is working to further improve profitability and streamline its portfolio.

In the first half of 2026, ProSiebenSat.1’s EBITDA rose by €152 million, whilst consolidated revenue fell by nine per cent to €1.544 billion due to portfolio effects and the challenging market environment. For the full year, the Group continues to expect slight organic revenue growth and a significant increase in EBITDA.

From February, Ms Heisserer – a manager with experience in the transformation of a major German media company – will therefore take over financial responsibility at ProSiebenSat.1. The group also highlights her international experience and European perspective against the backdrop of MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE’s majority stake.
