Filming has begun in Berlin and Quedlinburg on *Und unten leuchten wir* (working title). Bavaria Fiction is producing this pre-Christmas television film on behalf of ARD Degeto Film for ARD.

Directed by Katja Benrath, the cast includes Klaus Steinbacher, Anja Pichler, Alwara Höfels, Hildegard Schroedter, Hadi Khanjanpour and Joachim Król. The screenplay is by bestselling author Astrid Ruppert. Doris Zander is the producer, whilst Hannah Liebrenz serves as executive producer. Johanna Kraus and Karsten Günther are the editors.

The story is set on a rainy November evening, when a baby is found in a church during a St Martin’s Day procession. The discovery brings together five people with different life stories. The story centres on themes of community, compassion and personal new beginnings.
