Maike Jelikow (25) leads a fairytale life as an influencer dream couple with her boyfriend Max König (27). But when Max dies unexpectedly during a commercial shoot, Maike goes into shock and feels nothing. Completely enraptured, she can neither live up to her own expectations nor those of Max's parents and fans. Doubting herself, her love for Max and her old life, she meets her old school friend Stella Hernandez (28) again. Maike finds comfort and understanding in her relationship with the absolutely honest, life-troubled single mother and her rebellious son Finn (12), while the pressure from Max's parents and the public rises inexorably.
