Björn Böhning, CEO and Spokesman of the Board of the Production Alliance:

"The Production Alliance owes a great deal to Uli Aselmann. As the founding chairman of the cinema section, he has played a key role in shaping the association's work since 2009. His involvement in numerous broadcaster and collective bargaining negotiations - the supplementary collective agreement on revenue sharing should be emphasised here - led to successes from which the entire industry benefits today. His efforts in the negotiations as well as in the committees of the German Federal Film Board to achieve a genuine balance of interests have earned him respect far beyond the production industry. It is thanks to him that the cinema section brings together important cinema production companies and is constantly growing. His advocacy of common interests strengthens our association and the bridges to our partners and other parts of the industry.

We would also like to thank Stefan Schubert and Katharina Rinderle, who did not stand for re-election, for their lasting services to our organisation. I congratulate all those elected and am delighted with the strong team and the new momentum with which the Production Alliance is ideally positioned for the many tasks of the future."
