The Roxy Film is a Munich-based film production company run by producers Andreas Richter, Annie Brunner and Ursula Woerner, which was originally founded in 1959. With its films, the company aims to tell sophisticated stories for a broad audience: universal themes that touch people and have something to do with them: Roxy Film loves comedy and likes to take the arthouse route. The Roxy is closely linked to various partners. Since 2005, this has been the joint company Crazy Film around producer and screenwriter Philipp Weinges, and since 2012 Glory Film with producer Ralf Zimmermann, who has also repeatedly worked as a line producer on projects with the Roxy Film realised. The latest project is a partnership with Kalekone Film, the young Munich producers and HFF graduates Lea Neu and Katharina Kolleczek. Together they develop and produce films and series. Andreas Richter is also the managing partner of Janus-TV GmbH in Ismaning and thus a link to this "bigger sister" company in Ismaning, which specialises in the production of serial, non-fictional content.
