Car dealer Joe Glauning disappears from a campsite in the Dutch-Lower Saxony border region - he has left behind his personal papers, keys and mobile phone. Traces of blood point to a capital offence. The investigation into this mysterious case confronts Federal Police Chief Inspector Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring) with abysses that take him across borders. At his side in the two-part TATORT: EIN GUTER TAG/SCHWARZER SCHNEE are the highly talented cyber-criminal Mario Schmitt (Denis Moschitto) and the Dutch detective Lynn de Baer (Gaite Jansen). The film is directed and written by multiple Grimme Award winner Hans Steinbichler and Alexander Adolph. Adolph wrote the script together with Eva Wehrum.

This TATORT is produced by the NORDFILMThe two-parter is being produced as a German-Dutch co-production, with NDR and NPO as the participating broadcasters. It is the first German-Dutch co-production in more than 50 years of TATORT history. Filming will continue until 17 December in Groningen and Delfzijl, in Lower Saxony and in Hamburg and is expected to be shown in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands in 2026.
